Karawang Artha Industrial Hill proudly congratulates PT Zhongyu Industry Indonesia on the successful groundbreaking of its new production facility in Karawang, West Java. This milestone marks the beginning of a new manufacturing project focused on high-performance composite materials and strengthens KAIH’s position as a growing destination for value-added industrial investment in Indonesia.

Established by Zhongyu Industry from China, PT Zhongyu Industry Indonesia will be located at Karawang Artha Industrial Hill Block E No. 6 & 7, Karawang, West Java.

A New Composite Material Manufacturing Facility in Karawang

The new facility is planned to support the research and development, manufacturing, and sales of high-performance composite materials. With a registered capital of approximately USD 20 million, PT Zhongyu Industry Indonesia represents another important addition to Karawang’s growing manufacturing landscape.

The project carries a total investment value of RMB 220 million, with a first-phase investment of RMB 150 million. It will be developed on more than 6 hectares of land area, with almost 5 hectares of planned total construction area.

Facility Development and Production Capacity

According to the project presentation, PT Zhongyu Industry Indonesia’s facility will include 3 main production workshops: raw material warehouse, auxiliary material warehouse, and comprehensive office building with other supporting facilities.

The production setup will consist of three wet-process production lines and six dry-process production lines, supported by related production equipment. Once completed, the facility is expected to produce up to 12 million meters of new composite materials per year.

The project is also estimated to generate annual revenue of approximately RMB 500 million, highlighting its potential contribution to Indonesia’s manufacturing output and advanced materials supply chain.

The groundbreaking event also featured a presentation on ACE United Construction and Development Indonesia Co., Ltd., introduced in relation to construction and project development.
